Bolton Bay sits on beautiful Long Lake just minutes from Park Rapids—making it the perfect setting for a relaxing family vacation. You’re also a short drive from Itasca State Park, home to the headwaters of the iconic Mississippi River.
We’re proud to be one of the area’s few truly pet-friendly resorts, so your whole family—including your four-legged members—can enjoy the getaway.
Long Lake stretches nearly 10 miles long and half a mile wide, offering excellent fishing opportunities with abundant walleye, northern pike, crappie, largemouth bass, and panfish.
Whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, there’s no shortage of activities—fishing, ice fishing, jet skiing, water skiing, sailing, tubing, snorkeling, and swimming on our crystal-clear lake.
Explore the scenic Bolton Bay trails on your own golf cart or take your street-legal cart right into Park Rapids for shopping, dining, and small-town charm.

The kids will surely enjoy the use of our swim raft, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and canoe all available for your use, free of charge.
We now have plenty of dock space and can easily handle 6 extra boats on our dock. Either rent a boat from us or bring your own boat. We are only 1/2 mile from the public access.
Use some of the nearly 1 mile of trails we now have. Take your golf cart, side-by-side or just walk on the new trails all over the Bolton Bay property.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a great stay at Bolton Bay! Everything was as described and very comfortable. The bass were plentiful and view peaceful. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Long Lake is a beautiful lake and this cabin on the cove is amazing. Quiet and tranquil. Listening to the loons every evening by the lake, whether gazing on the lake or towards the beautifully lit cabin .... complete serenity. What a great week of weather, family fun and Chris took great care of us!
